Who We Are (and What We Think)

We are an online literary magazine but we’re also a small community. When we first started in 2012, our goal was to create a space to encourage emerging writers and creators in their gifts. As The Wheelhouse Review 2.0 re-launches in 2021, we are still committed to those ideas. After all, many of us have continued to write and found courage to pitch other outlets--a couple of us even published books!

We want to continue to be a welcoming literary community and a generator of fresh and engaging content. TWR won’t do clickbait and won’t ever choose quantity over quality.

We hope you’ll join us as a reader, a subscriber, a creator, or a friend who is rooting for our contributors (but seriously, why aren’t you subscribing?).

What You Should Expect if You Subscribe

Each week, you can expect two new pieces to read and a list of what we’re reading.
